Lives up to the name, this really is Epic Leather. Handcrafted to order within a week, and arrived via international shipping about 2 weeks after ordering. Book is true to the size given in the listing, and the page count is generous, I paid for 800 pages and got about 880 in my book, excellent. Leather cover is thick and soft, and the binding and clasps are secure. There are some natural imperfections to the leather, which I expected, and adds to the rustic charm. There was also some transfer of the red dye from to book onto my desk, and have taken to putting paper towels under it until the excess dye wears off. The paper is gorgeous, with a ton of rustic charm. As expected with handmade paper there is some variation in tone, thickness and texture with individual pages, but they are all lovely.

Beautiful item, very well made inside and out with careful attention to detail, and it arrived quickly considering my location. That said, I'm a little disappointed with the page numbers: I paid proportionate pricing for a 1600 page volume and ended up with 1190 pages, which means splitting the book up differently for my desired project. if you're using the book for anything with allocated sections, be sure to check your order has the amount of pages advertised. Other than that, I highly recommend this.

The quality of the journal is nice, but the item that was shown wasn't exactly the item that I got. The paper was an old style kind which is not what I expected. I was expecting regular white paper. Not a huge deal and I will use it. Item arrived very fast. I'm happy with my purchase.
